United Mortgage Partners (UMP) was formed 3 years ago after the mortgage meltdown of 2007 occurred.  The partners in the firm have a combined 80+ years in the mortgage and finance business.

We recognized that the 2 greatest factors contributing to the industry’s demise were greed and lack of education.  Thus, UMP was built on the premise that we will put the best interests of the client above all else, or we won’t do the deal.

When it comes down to it, business is pretty simple: people do business with people and companies that they know, like and trust.  At UMP, you’ll get a sense for that when you speak to us.  We don’t tease you with low rates on our home page and then tell you after a 30 minute conversation that you can only get that rate if you have a 20% down payment, 800 + credit score, and have to buy down the interest rate.  That’s not how we do business.  We tell you the facts, and you’ll know from the first call with any one of our experienced, licensed loan originators that we actually care about you.

Company founder, Mike Manieri is a 12-year industry veteran who has been through a long boom and now a long bust.  Through it all he has flourished by simply being upfront and honest with clients from the first introduction. Mike’s philosophy is “If I go out everyday with the intention of helping other people, good things will happen for me as a byproduct of putting the client first and giving them an enjoyable experience.  I can’t tell you how many times I have advised a client that doing a loan with our firm was not in their best interest based on their current situation.  Certainly our company doesn’t make any money by turning business down but we will not take it unless it can truly help our clients and put them in a better financial position.”   Mike has a Bacholor’s of Science degree in Communications from Niagara University and lives in Winter Park, Florida

UMP has the advantage of being both a mortgage broker and a direct lender.  That means we have the maximum amount of options when finding the right mortgage product for your needs.  Most direct lenders can only offer you loan programs that they have in house.  At UMP, if we don’t have the perfect loan program for you in house, we can source through dozens of different lenders to find the best program at the best rate for you.
